Images are added using Markdown in a similar way as creating regular links, except you include an exclamation mark at the very beginning, and put the image
alt="" value in the brackets instead of the link text.
For example, this:
![Astro from Vidme](https://i.imgur.com/zCi43o5.png)
Will display the Vidme mascot, . Note the image is in-line here (
img is an inline HTML element), evident by the poor alignment of the image with the paragraph line-height.
You generally don’t want that kind of appearance, so put the image syntax on its own line by adding a blank line above and below the Markdown string:
Note: In order to use images, the files must already be online somewhere so you can use the URLs.
